"Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life" - Pablo Picasso
Life, a word that is describing itself; a concept that no one can ever give its truest meaning and what is its purpose; a process that no one can ever escape from; and a gift that everyone can be grateful with. Humans are alike. We live and we die. We are born to experience this what we called LIFE. But, nobody lives it dull and for what reason involves the earth and art.
Imagine the Earth without Art, would it be the same as now or would it be less a day with no joviality? It's the latter, right? Indeed, earth and art is one. We could not be able to grasp happiness if we are living life that art is non existent. It would be meaningless for us to wake up and find that we cannot work out our God-given talents. And, our growth towards our passion would only be listless.
The quote above from a famous artist, Pablo Picasso, tells us simply that one can separate his self from his phlegmatic life by giving away a piece of his aesthetic soul. Picasso is a painter, sculptor, draughtsman, print maker, decorative artist and writer that influenced many and left a tremendous impact to artists of today. He believed that making art is just as stating the truth. It is one of the best ways of showing emotions and engender our realizations into something worth living for.
However, in every creation there is destruction and that destruction is a form of a new creation. What begins must end. People is the living truth that even death can be beautiful, and as we die, we are becoming a part of the earth. Our remains and pieces of our memories will be left but still, the pulchritude continues. Some things will be destroyed again, nevertheless, that is just a cycle. Nature eventually find its way.
Art brings beauty to our senses and freedom to our consciences. It needs to be appreciated more in the society. Unfed minds devour itself and the broken demand answers to confusions. We could really not fathom what is beyond our abilities, and the possibilities that we ought to do. But what can we do for a start is to embrace the reality with an immense delight in art. In return, we might be surprised for what life has to offer. After all, the word“earth”without “art”would be just “eh.”
